1.0 Introduction to the Attendance Management Software Platform

ReCon Biometrics face recognition attendance software has been developed on the back of years of industry experience in response to the management needs of countless users, and is ideal for companies looking to adopt advanced attendance management procedures. The software is based on C/S or B/S architecture and links to face recognition terminals via TCP/IP to collect personnel and attendance data, offering a complete range of functions including user management, shift scheduling, and the generation, export and/or printing of attendance reports.
1.1  C/S Architecture Management Platform

 
The C/S software provides an HR attendance management solution based on face recognition scanners. The system allows effective management of personnel throughout their employment, from hiring, contracts, insurance, promotion, and disciplinary and attendance records to departure, while providing prompt early warning alerts for abnormal conditions or preset situations.
The system supports dynamic switching between multiple languages; currently available are Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English.

1.2  Basic Functions of the C/S Attendance System
     1.2.1 Attendance Management
Attendance device management Add or delete attendance machines, test attendance machines, collect attendance data, synchronize attendance machines.
Shift setting Shift setting is the foundation of attendance, and the system allows the setting of different shifts for different personnel. If employees in different departments have the same working hours, we can allocate them to the same shift.
Team setting Team setting refers to the association of employees in the same shift together into a collective entity. Employees in a team can be from the same department or different department.
Team scheduling Team scheduling is used to schedule shifts for employees in the same team.
Attendance scheduling Attendance scheduling can be used to schedule shifts for individual employees in special circumstances.
Punch card data import Attendance machine data can be imported using CSV files.
Data processing Data processing is used for batch processing of employee attendance. Individual attendance files are compiled into attendance reports.
Attendance files Attendance files are used to view and analyze an employee’s attendance record. They are the end outcome of attendance management, and include details such as lateness, early departure, absences, leave, travel and general holidays.
     1.2.2 Basic Functions of Report Query
Comprehensive analysis Personnel files can be statistically analyzed by different fields, such as department, gender, job title, education, employee type, ethnicity, and marital status.
Distribution statistics Personnel details can be displayed by different fields, such as department, gender, job, education, employee type, ethnicity, and marital status.
Turnover statistics Statistics on new employees, former employees, full-time staff and staff on probation can be compiled by department and time.
